A.P.C.

Ninth Street, Downtown Los Angeles

Minimal in its aesthetic, the design of A.P.C.’s downtown retail space capitalizes on innovative interplay of materials and light.
With a simple palette of raw materials and a monochromatic scheme, contrast in perceived temperature and texture defines the distinct areas in the store - warm oak lines the dressing rooms’ walls; cool concrete, copper elements and fiberglass display assemblies characterize the main retail space. The impact of each detail is amplified by careful consideration and skillful execution.
