VANESSA SEWARD
Melrose Place, Los Angeles
Vanessa Seward’s US flagship store was the first built outside of Paris for the designer.
The complete transformation of the space includes the addition of a large skylight allowing plentiful light into the interior to highlight the store’s luxurious materials and exquisitely crafted details - custom blue and brass wall panels; elm built-in furniture; custom brass light fixtures.
A substantial central stone display responds to the shape of the skylight above; a petite tropical garden is incorporated in the sculptural stone mass.
This project was accomplished while in association with Warren Office for Research and Design.
Irina contributed to the project in project management, city approvals and construction administration.
